Environment Pod The Environment pod seeks to promote ecological living through conservation (energy, water, land, wildlife), recycling, alternative energy, and other issues concerning the environment. Join us atSt. Augustine Earth Day 2008!
This community-wide event, sponsored by the Natural Living Alliance (NLA) and the Old City Farmers’ Market, will be held at the St. Augustine Amphitheatre, Saturday, April 19 from 10:00 a.m. – 3:00 p.m. St. Augustine Earth Day seeks to create public awareness of the need to protect and nurture the beauty and bounty of the earth, and to promote a way of life that is ecologically sustainable, fulfilling and socially responsible. Businesses and organizations that share this vision are invited to participate in the Earth Day event. Come showcase your ideas, activities, or earth-friendly services or products, and share with the community your interest in protecting the environment and promoting sustainable and healthy lifestyles. Please fill out the exhibitor registration form, enclose a check for appropriate fees, and mail to the address specified. Deadline - April 4, 2008. Applications are subject to joint approval by the NLA Earth Day Committee and the Old City Farmers’ Market Manager, herein referred to as the Joint Committee.
